If a tree takes storm damage and looks like it is in danger of falling over or damaging your property, we can come and secure the tree and protect your home. We always look at the best option for the tree, and our primary goals are to retain the tree and protect your home. However, if the tree is unsafe, we may have to take it down to ensure protection.

Storm damage rarely looks worse than it is, but sometimes it genuinely is that bad. We'll assess whether your tree can be saved with careful work or if it's become genuinely dangerous. Often, removing broken branches and reducing weight is enough to make things safe. Sometimes the whole tree has to come down.

We won't dramatise the situation or push unnecessary work. If it can wait until daylight, we'll tell you. If temporary props or restraints will buy time for a proper decision, we'll suggest that. But when a tree genuinely threatens your home, we've got the kit and experience to deal with it safely, whatever the weather.
